Diabetes and Dimentia

A recent report in the medical journal JAMA 4.27.2021 documented an association between an earlier onset of diabetes and elevated levels of blood sugars with a significantly higher risk for subsequent dementia. Since diabetes, mainly type 2 diabetes, is linked to the overweight condition, this is another indication that a healthy weight is associated with a reduction in the risk for chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and osteoarthritis. But losing weight is difficult and keeping it off is even harder.

As an Obesity Medicine Specialist, who has been treating overweight patients for more than 20 years, I have wanted to do more to help individuals lose weight other than tell them to eat less and do more. Now I can offer them something that will certainly help them achieve a healthy weight. I created Attenuate and Attenuslim, weight loss supplements, that contain herbal ingredients that have been clinically shown to decrease appetite, reduce hunger, curb carbohydrate cravings and shrink the abdomen, hip and waist sizes. These are medically validated and documented tools to help overweight individuals gain control of their excess weight and be able to “lose it and keep it off”. I have used this in my obesity practice and have found them to be effective and safe as they are not stimulants and don’t interfere with bowel or bladder function. A healthy weight helps to ensure a better, and longer, quality of life.
